By accessing and using SBCC's bamboo carbon capture service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

SBCC provides bamboo planting and carbon offset services in Sierra Leone. When you purchase bamboo plants through our platform, you are investing in environmental sustainability and carbon capture.

• Each bamboo plant is planted and maintained in our Moyamba plantation
• Estimated CO₂ capture is approximately 79kg per plant per year
• Your purchase supports local employment and land restoration
• You receive ownership rights to specific bamboo plants

When you complete a purchase, legal ownership of the bamboo plants transfers to you, subject to these terms:

• Plants remain physically located at our Sierra Leone plantation
• SBCC maintains responsibility for care, cultivation, and harvesting
• You receive regular updates on your plants' growth and CO₂ capture
• Ownership is documented through our digital certificate system

CO₂ capture estimates are based on scientific research and field measurements. However, please understand:

• CO₂ capture rates are estimates based on average bamboo growth
• Actual capture may vary due to weather, soil conditions, and plant health
• We conduct regular monitoring and provide annual impact reports
• Third-party verification is conducted periodically
• Bamboo plants are living organisms subject to natural variations

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
• Prices are listed in EURO and may be converted to your local currency
• All sales are one-time purchases with no automatic renewals
• Payment must be received before bamboo planting begins
• Invoices are provided electronically after successful purchase

All content on the SBCC platform is protected by intellectual property rights.

• SBCC owns all website content, images, videos, and branding
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works
• Limited license granted to view and use the platform for personal purposes
• Any unauthorized use may result in legal action

Given that bamboo plants are living organisms in a natural environment, certain limitations apply:

• SBCC is not liable for plant loss due to extreme weather events
• We are not responsible for natural diseases or pest damage beyond our control
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, political instability) are excluded from liability
• Our liability is limited to the purchase price of affected plants
• We maintain insurance for major risks but cannot guarantee 100% survival
• This is an environmental investment, not a financial security

As a user of our platform and bamboo owner, you agree to:

Prohibited activities include:

✗ Providing false or misleading information during purchase
✗ Misrepresenting your bamboo ownership or CO₂ offset claims
✗ Attempting to resell or transfer ownership without authorization
✗ Using our platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
✗ Attempting to interfere with our website operations

We collect and process personal data in accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws. Your information is used solely for order processing, communication, and service delivery. We do not sell your data to third parties. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy (coming soon).

In the event of any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service:

• Disputes shall be governed by Netherland law
• Parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation
• Jurisdiction for legal proceedings is Netherland
